Phytochemistry is a leading international journal that publishes studies on plant chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology and genetics, structure and bioactivities of phytochemicals, including “-Omics” and bioinformatics/computational biology approaches. Phytochemistry is a major source of work on phytochemicals, in particular reports on their biosynthesis, regulation and biological properties, both in the planta and as bioactive principles. Articles are published as quickly as possible online as articles-in-press and in 12 volumes per year. Sometimes special thematic editions are published, consisting of contributions from guest authors. The review strongly recommends that all datasets on which the paper`s conclusions are based be available to readers.
