Explorer units are part of the selection of Scouts and not individual groups in the District, but in South Tyneside, two of our units have partnership agreements with groups that allow them to work together and share space and resources. Our units are located and meet at the following address: This is particularly suitable for units working with a group of Scouts. It describes the “links” between the Scout Troop and the Explorer Scout Unit, and how these “connections” are maintained. In August 2018, an agreement between the U.S. Coast Guard and the Boy Scouts of America Sea Scouts made the Auxiliary Coast Guard`s official youth program. The Auxiliary Coast Guard is the uniformed volunteer component of the United States Coast Guard. Since 1939, the rescue service has assisted the coast guard in almost all service operations. This partnership gives sea Scouts the opportunity to benefit from mariner training and coastguard training, while introducing sea scouts to the coastguard. A partnership agreement should be reached where there is a long-term link between a Scout unit and a Scout group or other Scout group (. B, for example, a campsite or scout activity centre). 4. When should the partnership agreement be reviewed? As with all agreements, it is important that they are reviewed on a regular basis.
The partnership agreement must be reviewed at least once a year and if one of the signatories to the agreement changes. A partnership agreement is a simple written agreement between an Explorer Scout Unit, the District and the Explorer Scout Unit partner. It has four main missions: the Explorer program should be completed and supplemented with events and activities throughout the district, which allow them to establish contacts and work with other local entities of the explorer. Common sense should be used when the examples mentioned above are not adapted to the specific local situation. Since the Scout District is responsible for providing a balanced program for Explorers, as well as opening and closing the Explorer Scout Unit, it is usually the District, the Explorer Scout Unit and the partners who enter into the partnership agreement. 3. The equipment, facilities and resources (including financial) to be provided as part of this process must be taken into account in the RGPD returns to clearly state what data you collect, why you collect it, who has access to it, to whom you transfer it and for how long you keep it.
